Isosilicon
Isosilicon AS was founded in 2004 in order to develop technologies for enrichment of light isotopes particularly those of silicon (28Si, 29Si and 30Si). The company was incorporated under the laws of Norway under registration number 987 259 574. Through own research the company has explored gas chromatography as an enrichment method for silicon isotopes.
The company has been granted several patents resulting from the research on gas chromatography enrichment. The company has traded isotopes for the benefit of its partners using such isotopes in various applications. The company was a major partner in OSIRIS a European research consortium project together with four French, three Swedish and one Slovakian partner(s).
